Also, who was more successful and why?
I’m thinking Ancient Rome’s govt system was much more successful than the Greek democracy. But why?

Both systems were serving specific needs of their corresponding time and place. Anicent athenian democracy was founded much earlier and was less elitist. But in the end both systems got completely corrupted. Rome in itself reached its glory days not as a functional democracy but as a nominal one; there was always a dictator that overrid the decisions of the senate like Ceasar or Octavius.

If you go to wikipedia and type Ancient Rome and then also Ancient Athens you will find that the two articles have a part dedicated to government those days. Have a read first and then rethink!
